Turmeric gold milk tea

The perfect drink to cozy up to on a rainy day like today.Not only does this tea have a pleasant and distinctive smell and taste because of the turmeric, ginger, cayenne pepper and black pepper but it’s also so easy to make and the best part is you can customize it to however you like. This is a great way to incorporate turmeric into your diet and get the full benefits of this mighty powerful root.
To start use a very good quality base milk ( any milk ). I absolutely love homemade almond milk, but if you don’t have the time a good organic store bought will do. I was too lazy to make my own so I used organic soy milk and although it wasn’t bad I will definitely stick to almond milk going forward. 


  • 2 tbsp grated fresh turmeric or powder
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger or powder 
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tsp honey 
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • And a pinch of black pepper
